I´m busy. I´m busy enjoying live on the countryside. I haven´t got very much time for photography and almost no time to spend it in front of my computer. Since I moved out of Vienna my life has changed completely. I ride my bike, work in the garden or just sit in the shade of a tree. It´s great. Beside that I shot a wedding. Thanks god my friend was smart enough to hire a professional photographer. I was the best man and responsible for the shots during the dinner. Though the pro has covered the "couple shots" I insisted that they have to pose for me as well. The image above was taken on late afternoon just before dinner. I took them out of the restaraunt and placed them so that they had the sun in the back. I used my 135L almost wide open to blurr the background. I like it that way because to me these images look more natural than flash shots. We also got visited by very good friends with their two kids. They ask me to do some family pitures. I took a couple of images of the whole family which was fun because they tried very hard to get their little daughter and their new born baby posing. But it was this image of their little girl that I liked most. She was looking up to her father demanding whatever ( I can´t remember ). The 135L once again prooved to be a wonderful lens. The B&W conversion was done in Lightroom. Finally I took an image while driving on the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. The Grossglockner is the highest mountain in Austria. It´s almost 3.900 meters high. The pass goes up to 2.500m. As you can see there is a lot of snow there in May! Next year I want to ride up there with my bike. settings for the main shot: A-Mode, 1/1000@f2.8, 400ASA ( because I have forgotten to turn it back to 100ASA )
