Most of the time you have to stand up early, climb a mountain our at least walk for hours to get the right picture.

Imagine to stand up late, open the balcony door and take a picture. That´s whar I did during my xc-skiing-vacation in Ramsau/Austria. After taking this photo I walked back in and had breakfast. I had to be fast to avoid to get cold in my pyjamas! Life can be simple sometimes.

Photo was taken with my D1 and the 2.8/80-200 lens. The colorbalance was changed slightly in Photoshop to give the picture a touch of warm morning light. It shows a part of the Dachstein, a mountain with over 3000m height. The highest mountain of Styria.
