Scotland 2002. It was the 3rd time that I visited Scotland and I took a lot of pictures. But this was the first time that I did all the images with digital cameras. A story of what I found out can be found here: The good, the Bad and the Ugly. Scotland is great: Wonderful landscapes, gentle people and perfect light ( well not all the time ). This time we had a lot of rain and fog. On this day we had nothing but rain. As we left our B&B for dinner I had little hope that there would be an improvement before sunset BUT I took my little Canon Ixus V2 with me ( just in case ). When we left the pub the sun came out. There was no time to drive back to our room to get my D1 so I took all the images with the Canon Ixus V2. Be prepared! The best camera is the camera that is with you if you have the chance to get a good picture. The little Canon did a great job and is now my digital substitute for the wonderful Contax T2. I love small cameras because you will get pictures you would miss without them. A review of the Ixus V2 can be found HERE. image data: whitebalance set on cloudy and exposure comp. to -0,7 |
