Canada on early summer 2001. This is one of my favourite pictures I took during this wonderful holiday. It shows the Icefield Parkway - maybe the most beautiful highway on earth. There is a strong blue cast in this photo because it was taken early in the morning. The blue in the picture is perfect because it illustrates the cold of this morning. I used my 80-200 on the long end and waited for a motorhome to put it in the frame. The result was a photograph that shows Canada as it is: A strong, majestic country with a lot of lonely roads.
